Visit from Carmelite Sisters of the Divine Heart of Jesus

It was truly a pleasure to have some of the Carmelite Sisters of the Divine Heart of Jesus visit our studio today.  Back in May, Inspired Artisans was commissioned by the Carmelite Sisters to produce a portrait of Blessed Mary Teresa of Joseph, foundress of the Carmelite Sisters of the Divine Heart of Jesus.  Here's a picture of the Sisters around the piece, and a few of our own are mixed in with the bunch!

Our Lady of Good Help

Inspired Artisans has another interesting and exciting project to announce!  In 1859, in New Franken, WI, the Virgin Mary appeared before a Belgian immigrant between two trees.  Recently, Inspired Artisans was commissioned to design a sculpture of her semblance for the Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help in New Franken, Wi.  Below are some photos, more to come!

Inspired Blogging

Inspired Artisans is a custom design art studio in Milwaukee, WI that focuses on ecclesiastical artwork.  We opened up in July of 1997 with aspirations of being the figurative bridge between our client's ideas and a finished product; since, we have experienced the joy of completing a great number of projects, each one distinct.  There is a certain sentiment achieved when going through the process of brainstorming, planning, and completion of a project that makes our job astonishingly gratifying.

The goal of this blog is to keep you informed on the current projects of Inspired Artisans as well as past projects and future aspirations.  We are Inspired to keep designing artwork that warms the hearts of our clients and their communities.  Here are some photos of a recent project completed in Kingwood, TX at St. Martha's Catholic Community.  We are delighted to have completed an outdoor "Welcoming Christ" glazed tile mosaic, a beautiful tabernacle depicting a lamb and the symbols of the Eucharist, stations of the Cross, and wood pieces of Corpus on the Cross, Christ's meeting with St. Martha, Mary and Lazarus, the Blessed Mother, and St. Joseph.  It was an honor going to the dedication of the the church in August, a ceremony presided over by Cardinal DiNardo.   This is an experience I will remember for the rest of my life, and I hope to have many similar ones.
